Ending Family Homelessness
VAPC has been actively involved with a KAIROS Calgary Working Group to develop a project to help end family homelessness in Calgary. They partnered with the Calgary Homeless Foundation to purchase their first affordable housing complex called Acadia Place.
This has become an ecumenical initiative bringing together 130 Churches from 10 Denominations to help homeless families in Calgary.
